I am proud of my record with the US Attorney's office. Over the past five years I prosecuted
hundreds of criminal cases, supervised a staff of 150 and managed a budget of $11 million.

During my five years at the Department of Justice, I learned that the prosecutor plays a vital role in serving our community. The prosecutor works for the people, applying the law fairly and equally. He serves as an advocate for victims and works closely with law enforcement. While the prosecutor will not win every case, he is expected to seek the truth, regardless of the result. An effective prosecutor must protect the integrity of the criminal justice system and make certain that it works for everyone.
